NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Shoulder work from Foothill Drive to Sulphur Bank Drive will begin. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Pavement work north of Sunset Drive will occur on Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work a mile south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work a half a mile south of the Little River Airport on Monday, April 23, Tuesday, April 24, and Wednesday, April 25. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Electrical work near Caspar Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Guardrail work at the Broaddus Creek Bridge will continue through Friday, April 20. One-way traffic until 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Slide repairs from Comminsky Station Road to the Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Guardrail work from the 253 junction to a mile north of Reeves Canyon Road will continue through Friday, April 20. Lane closures will be in effect in both directions from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Pavement work at the Route 222 southbound offramp will continue. The ramp will be fully closed. Motorists should find an alternate route.
– Emergency work south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorist should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work north of Uva Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Guardrail work near the Haehl Creek Bridge will continue through Friday, April 20. One-way traffic control until 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Guardrail work north of Bell Glen Resort will continue through Friday, April 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work south of the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Emergency work near the 1 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Hibbard Road to Big Oaks Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Wall work at The Middle Way will continue. One-way traffic control with temporary stop signs will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
Route 175 (6.3/8.7) – Emergency work east of the entrance to Motorcycle Park will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 222
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment for utility work near the Russian River Bridge on Friday, April 20. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 253
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work east of Stipp Lane on Wednesday, April 25, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 271
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work north of the South Fork Eel River Bridge on Thursday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
