NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Shoulder work near Foothill Drive will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C20DB
Highway 175
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work at the Cobb Village Shopping Center on Friday, May 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P175DA
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Ocean View Drive to Sunset Drive on Monday, May 14, through Wednesday, May 16. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at North Limits of Elk on Tuesday, May 15, through Thursday, May 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work 1 mile south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for tree work at Happy Lane to Pacific Avenue South to begin on Monday, May 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work near Soldier Point Viaduct will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours day. Motorists should minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 101
– Striping work from Russian River Bridge to Comminsky Station Road will occur Monday, May 14. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Comminsky Station Road to McNab Creek Bridge will occur Tuesday, May 15. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Slide repairs from Comminsky Station Road to the Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Striping work from Fire Station to McNab Creek Bridge will occur Tuesday, May 15. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Nelson Road to Route 253 will occur Wednesday, May 16. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Pavement work near the Route 222 junction will continue. The southbound offramp will be fully closed. Motorists should find an alternate route.
– Striping work from Presswood Overhead Bridge to Central Avenue Overcrossing will occur Wednesday, May 16. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Presswood Overhead Bridge to Ridgewood Ranch Road will occur Thursday, May 17. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Striping work from Pomo Undercrossing to Ridgewood Ranch Road will occur Friday, May 18. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency work south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorist should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work north of Uva Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Construction at Jitney Gulch Bridge will begin Monday, May 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work south of the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Emergency work near the 1 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Lambert Lane to begin on Monday, May 14, through Wednesday, May 16. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Haehl Street on Thursday, May 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Hibbard Road to Big Oaks Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Wall work at The Middle Way will continue. One-way traffic control with temporary stop signs will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Emergency work east of the entrance to Motorcycle Park will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 222
– City of Ukiah has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Hastings Frontage Road starting on Monday, May 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
