Preparations under way for annual Baconfest June 17

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Things are starting to sizzle in downtown Kelseyville, as the Kelseyville Business Association and local volunteers make ready for the second annual Lake County Beer, Wine and Swine Baconfest on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Local chefs and caterers like Bing’s Kitchen, Lake Event Catering, Dancing Poly Farms, Mendocino BBQ Catering, Konocti Vista Casino, A Passion for Food, Fresh and Banging, Park Place, Woodland College, Twin Pine Casino and Dirty Girl Donuts will be prepping their most delectable bacon appetizers, entrees and desserts for you to enjoy.

Local brewers like Kelsey Creek Brewing and O’Meara Brothers will be on hand, as well as Malt Konocti Mashers (Lake County Home Brewers), Sactown Union and Two Rivers Cider to share their latest flavor sensations alongside of Steele and Encanto Wineries  who will be sharing their favorite selections.

A Kid Zone with games and activities for the young ones and Dave Broida’s Blues Farm Band will round out the day with rockin’ tunes for your dancing and listening pleasure.

Tickets can be purchased for just $25 if you choose to attend the Lake County Home Winemakers Festival on Saturday in Lakeport and the Lake County Beer, Wine and Swine Baconfest on Sunday or $30 any time before the event. Tickets will be $35 on the day of the event.
