NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Shoulder work near Foothill Drive will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Utility work will continue at Route 53. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C20EB
Highway 29
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Point Lakeview Drive to end Friday, June 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Roadwork at Cruickshank Road will begin on Monday, June 4. One-way traffic control will be in effect in both directions from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. overnight weeknights. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Emergency work 1 mile south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work near Soldier Point Viaduct will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours day. Motorists should minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 101
– Slide repairs from Comminsky Station Road to the Pieta Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Guardrail work at Route 253 will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Pavement work near the Route 222 junction will continue. The southbound offramp will be fully closed. Motorists should find an alternate route.
– Striping work from Presswood Overhead Bridge to Ridgewood Ranch Road will occur on Friday, June 8. Lane closures will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency work south of Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorist should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work north of Uva Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Drainage work at 3 miles South of Rattlesnake Summit will occur on Monday, June 4. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from 2 miles South of Tan Oak Park to Rattlesnake Creek Bridge will occur on Thursday, June 7. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work from Rattlesnake Creek Bridge to Empire Camp Rest Area will occur on Tuesday, June 5. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Drainage work from Empire Camp Rest Area to Tan Oak Park will occur on Wednesday, June 6. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Tan Oak Park to occur on Tuesday, June 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Construction at Jitney Gulch Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Bell Glenn Resort to the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work north of Piercy will continue. Lane restrictions will be in effect in both directions. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Emergency work from Hibbard Road to Big Oaks Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Wall work at The Middle Way will continue. One-way traffic control with temporary stop signs will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Emergency work east of the entrance to Motorcycle Park will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 222
– City of Ukiah has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Hastings Frontage Road to occur on Friday, June 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
