UPPER LAKE, Calif. – The Upper Lake Senior Center warmly invites you to its “Coffee and Conversation” on Wednesday, June 27.

It will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the center, located at 9470 Mendenhall Road and corner of First Street.

The presenter will be Gemalli Austin from Tribal Health, who will speak on the topic of diabetes.

How does one contract diabetes? How do you know you have it? What is blood sugar? What does insulin do?

Learn the answers to these questions and learn how to stay healthy and prevent diabetes.

There will be a discussion and a healthy lunch to follow.

All are warmly welcomed Wednesday and there will be flyers available for all of the programs the center offers.
