Pawnee fire-related waste collection services offered in Spring Valley Lakes

CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – With residents of the Spring Valley Lakes subdivision now able to return home following the Pawnee fire evacuation, officials have released information about waste collection services available to the community.

Resident are asked to use all trash and recycling carts for perishable, nonhazardous fire waste for collection on Friday, June 29.

Containers for perishable food and freezer waste items for non-customers are located at the community center on Wolf Creek and the Spring Valley Pantry on New Long Valley

The containers will be in place as long as the emergency operations center determines that they are necessary for the repopulation efforts.
