Weigh in on how to make Lake County more walkable

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – How can we make it safer and easier to walk in Lake County?

The Lake Area Planning Council, or APC, plans to find out by developing an inventory of pedestrian needs.

The inventory will identify those projects that would most improve walking in the county's two cities – Clearlake and Lakeport – and in the smaller communities.

Lake APC invites the community to get involved.

If you know of a project that could improve walking in your community – such as a new stretch of sidewalk, a curb ramp to an existing sidewalk, or crosswalk improvements at a challenging intersection – let them know.
