LAKEPORT, Calif. – A second Eagle Scout project has helped make improvements at the Lakeport Library.

Will Green, an Eagle Scout candidate from Boy Scout Troop 39 in Lakeport, chose refurbishing planters and flower beds at the Library as his Eagle Scout project.

On July 12 and 13, Green and his crew repaired and repainted planters and placed bark in the landscaped areas.

Helping Green were Jacob Stahr, Scoutmaster Bill Green, Assistant Scoutmaster Rich Ford, Terry Sanderson, Sayer Ford and Ken Eastham.

Jan Cook is a technician with the Lake County Library.
