LAKEPORT, Calif. – The city of Lakeport said its National Night Out event scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 7, has been postponed due to the Mendocino Complex fire.  

At this time, fire, law enforcement and other city emergency services are unavailable as they are committed to the complex’s River and Ranch fires, which continue to actively burn in Lake County.  

The city of Lakeport plans to reschedule the event at a later time and the community will be notified when a new date is determined.
