CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The city of Clearlake Animal Control fundraiser event, the “Bow Wow Luau,” originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18, has been rescheduled to Saturday, Sept. 29, due to the Mendocino Complex fire.

The fire has caused evacuations throughout our community as well as to some of the members of our staff who have worked diligently on organizing our first ever fundraiser for Clearlake Animal Control.

“We would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are committed to making sure we offer the best experience possible to our community,” said Sgt. Martin Snyder.

Any tickets that have already been purchased will be redeemable during the night of the event.

If you are unable to attend on the new event date, you ticket purchase will be refunded upon request.

The city thanks community members for their understanding and patience in regard to this matter.
