The event will take place beginning at noon on Sunday, Sept. 9, in the Little Theatre at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin St., Lakeport.
Appetizers and beverages will be served. The cost it $20 per person.
Heading the list for governor is John Cox who will be facing off against Lt. Gov Gavin Newsom. Cox has experience in corporate law and tax planning, and has been working with Carl DeMaio on the gas tax repeal and reducing taxes and regulations.
Judge Steven Bailey is running for attorney general. His background in criminal law has severed more than a dozen years as a judge. He has a real understanding of the legal system and stands firm on enforcing our laws, reducing crime and supporting our law enforcement.
Mark Meuser, who is running for secretary of state, is a native Californian, small business owner and is a constitutional lawyer. He has a real understanding on what is needed to clean up our voter rolls.
Greg Conlon is running for state treasurer. He is a CPA and consultant to the state’s treasurer. He will work to fix the state’s financial condition.
Konstantinos Roditis, candidate for state controller, will help to make California affordable without bringing new taxes to Californians.
Charlie Schaupp who is running for Congress in District 3. He is facing off against John Garamendi. He is a retired US Marine Corps lieutenant colonel and has a 3,500-acre farm in Esparto.
Lake County District Attorney Don Anderson is running for Lake County Superior Court judge. He has more than 28 years’ experience, starting as a Lake County deputy sheriff, then as a practicing lawyer in criminal law, family law, probate and real estate law, and has served as an administrative judicial law judge. He established a diversion program and has raised more than $250,000 for local charities. His service to our county has shown true commitment and dedication.
Carl DeMaio, chairman of the gas tax repeal, also will be joining them. His gas tax bill will be on the November ballot as Proposition 6.
Local Republican Candidates are encouraged to attend.
Ten percent of the proceeds will be given to the North Lake County Meals on Wheels Program, which serves homebound seniors seven days a week, from Kelseyville, Lakeport, and Lucerne all the way to Blue Lakes.
