LUCERNE, Calif. – The next meeting of the Lucerne Town Hall Council will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

The meeting will take place at 6 p.m. at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center at 10th and Country Club Drive.

The council is inviting Elliot Hurwitz to talk about fire safety and the recent fires in Lake County.

Other topics for discussion include the proposed sale of the Lucerne Castle, dredging of the Lucerne Harbor and traffic safety on Highway 20 through Lucerne.
