MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Luncheon Club will host speaker Mike Van Der Boon at its next meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Lunch will be served on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at noon at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St. The program will end promptly at 1 p.m.

Growing up in Holland during World War II gave Van Der Boon a lot of stories to share, but that period of his life doesn't account for all of them.

Emigrating from Holland to Canada and thence to the U.S., working odd jobs, meeting the love of his life, and raising a family while successfully developing a meat business in Healdsburg are just fodder for Van Der Boon, who loves to tell a good story.

For only $5 per person, enjoy a delicious meal of beef stroganoff, green salad, and cottage cheese with fruit.

You may also just come and listen to the speaker for free. Everyone is welcome.
