UPPER LAKE, Calif. – The Upper Lake Senior Center offers "Coffee and Conversation" this Wednesday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The guest speaker will be Denise Newman, a substance abuse program coordinator at Lake County Behavioral Health.

There is addiction in the older adults in Lake county. Come and learn how to safeguard yourself. Ask questions and participate in the presentation.

Coffee and a lunch will be served.

Everyone is welcome.

The center is located 9470 Mendenhall at the corner of First Street.
