CLEARLAKE, Calif. – On Halloween, Clearlake City Hall held its 10th annual “City Hall-oween” for local children.
City Hall-oween is a 100-percent volunteer and donation-funded event made possible by dozens of donors of treats, candy and toys.
Three hundred and forty reflective treat bags stuffed full of candy and toys were given out from 2 to 5 p.m., along with twenty-one pizzas donated by Cecil’s Pizza and pastries donated by Grocery Outlet.
According to City Manager Greg Folsom, “This is one of my favorite events of the year. It’s great to see all the kids come into City Hall and how excited they are about the treats and pizza. Clearlake is truly a great community that comes together with donating year after year.”
The following individuals and organizations contributed goodies or other assistance to the event: Cecil’s Pizza, Grocery Outlet, Chuck and Vicki Leonard, Karen and Dale Valentine, Joann Cox, Clearlake Automotive, A & B Collision, Susan Goodnoe, Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce, Sue Bermudez, Burrell’s Automotive, Joan Moore, Beth Kaiman, Cheryl Hutchinson, Jones and Mayer, Gary Price, and City Hall and Police Department staff members.
