MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Senior Center is proud to participate in the 2018 Subaru Share The Love event.

When you purchase or lease a new Subaru now through Jan. 2, 2019 you can select Meals on Wheels as the recipient of a $250 donation, which will directly benefit Middletown, Cobb and Hidden Valley lake Meals on Wheels programs.

The Middletown Senior Center will be holding a Stuff the Subaru Event on Dec. 20.

You can help by donating shelf-stable items for the center’s emergency bags for homebound seniors in case drivers deliver because of fire, weather or power outages.

Needed are items that don’t need to be heated or refrigerated such as fruit cups, peanut butter, Ensure, chicken or tuna lunch kits, etc.

Center officials said It takes an entire community and help from companies like Subaru of America Inc. to help raise critical funds needed to support local seniors.
