UPPER LAKE, Calif. – The Upper Lake Senior Center’s next “Coffee and Conversation” event will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the center will host a presentation and workshop provided by California Hope and sponsored by Lake Family Resource Center.

Trained outreach workers will provide a safe, supportive environment to share experiences as part of the recovery after the Mendocino Complex fire.

Learn about the phases of disaster and recovery, understanding our own feelings and reactions, and learn about simple things we can do to support our natural resiliency and community recovery.

A luncheon will be provided.
