Shoe drive held for Camp fire survivors

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Many of us throughout California are looking for a way to support the people who have experienced great loss recently from the Camp fire in Paradise.

While many have generously donated money, food, clothing, toys and other items, a local church is collecting new shoes.

Calvary Chapel of Clearlake would like to offer all residents of Lake County the opportunity to bless those who have experienced the devastation of this fire.

They will deliver all shoes to Calvary Chapel Chico, which will distribute the shoes to those who were affected by this fire.

The church asks community members to donate a new pair of shoes for anyone ages 1-99 years old, male or female.

Drop off shoes at Calvary Chapel of Clearlake, 14330 Memory Lane, off of Olympic Drive in Clearlake, from 9:30 a.m. to noon or 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays through Jan. 22.
