First 5 Lake Commission meets Jan. 9

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The First 5 Lake Commission will hold its first meeting of the new year on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the Lake County Office of Education’s Kesey Room, 1152 S. Main St., Lakeport.

Items on the agenda include election of the 2019 officers, approval of the October and November financial reports, the executive director’s report, approval of the Ad Hoc Committee’s recommendation for an at-large vacancy, approval of Executive Director Carla Ritz’s participation in the Leadership Cohort, approval of the revised 2018-19 budget, program update on Impact and QRIS – Angela Cueller-Marroquin, kindergarten data entry profile presentation, commissioners’ reports, and public comment and announcements.

The commission includes Chair Pam Klier, Vice Chair Denise Pomeroy, Brock Falkenberg, Tina Scott, Crystal Markytan, Susan Jen, Carly Swatosh and Allison Panella.
