Lucerne community breakfast planned for Jan. 19

LUCERNE, Calif. – On Saturday, Jan. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon, the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center will be hosting its monthly Community Breakfast.

The menu offers traditional favorites: eggs, home-fries, bacon or sausage, muffin or toast, pancakes or French toast, fruit, juice, coffee and more.

The cost is only $8 for adults and half price for children under 12.

The community breakfast is held on the third Saturday every month at the Lucerne Alpine Senior and Activity Center, located between 9th and 10th Avenues on Country Club Drive in Lucerne.

Proceeds from the Breakfast go to benefit the myriad services offered to the community at the center, which is housed in the old Lucerne School building, built in 1930.

For more information, or if you would like to volunteer to help, call the center at 707-274-8779.
