LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lake County Disaster Council will meet at 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17.

The meeting will take place in the Lake County Board of Supervisors’ chambers, 255 N. Forbes St. in Lakeport.

Agenda items include emergency situation reports, the Office of Emergency Services report, grants programs updates and the emergency operations plan/annexes.

Under new business are agency reports on the Mendocino Complex fires, the Fire Risk Reduction Program and assessments, the new joint powers agency between the fire districts and the county of Lake and the agency’s intent, and an update on SB 833 (McGuire) regarding emergency notifications.
