CLEARLAKE, Calif. – SafeRx Lake County is partnering with The Clearlake Youth Center to host a youth dance on Saturday, Feb. 9.

The dance, for ages 13 to 19, will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. at the youth center, 4750 Golf Ave., Clearlake.

The theme of the dance is “Live, Love, and Dance,” with the goal of showing the youth of Lake County that drugs are not necessary and that they can experience the most joy without substance use.

The dance will feature music, dance lights, glowstick decorations, a fog machine, games (such as Jenga Tower), pool tables, a photo booth and virtual reality. Free food and drinks will be provided, such as pizza, beverages, popcorn, cotton candy and ice cream.

All attendants will also be given a free raffle ticket. The grand prize is a brand-new PlayStation 4. Second and Third place prizes are snowboards (worth $200-250). Minor prizes will be gift cards, such as Amazon or iTunes.
