Baconfest organizers at work on 2019 event

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – It is indeed that time again, when the Kelseyville Business Association gets busy planning its upcoming Baconfest on Father’s Day, June 16.

Organizers said this year’s event will be bigger than ever and the fun starts now.

KBA President Rick White, Robert Bocabella of Business Design Services, Team Riley (Mike, Kim and Katie), Mark Borghesani of Kelseyville Lumber, Helen Finch of Finch Gardens and Roger Groves of Kelseyville Event Center were all in attendance at a meeting this week to refresh their review of last year’s event and figure out ways to do it better.

This year the committee is planning to spread the event out to three blocks of downtown Kelseyville and they are hoping to have 20 local chefs, caterers and businesses that wish to participate in the competition.

KBA is looking for local chefs and caterers, who will each receive $500 from sponsoring businesses, and they are looking for local businesses that might wish to spend a little time in the spotlight as well, by sponsoring their own amazing bacon treat. They will even have some recipes to share with them.

Baconfest 2019 is looking for sponsors for our chefs and the event itself. It’s a great way to put your business front and center with banners, event programs and the extensive reach of the KBA Facebook page.
