LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The fifth annual Mr. Lake County Pageant is coming up on June 22 at the Soper Reese Theater.
The reign has come to an end for current Mr. Lake County, Gary Deas, and the search has begun to find someone to continue in his footsteps.
A former Mr. Lake County, Larry Richardson, has teamed up with choreographer Sarah Dutra to put together a fun-filled Mr. Lake County Pageant. Now they just need guys.
Do you know a man who sings, tells jokes, builds cool stuff or cooks amazing meals? Can you muster enough courage to strut your stuff on stage? Then the Lake County Theatre Co. is looking for you.
The pageant is open to all men aged 18 to 100 who reside in Lake County.
The event includes all the traditional pageantry categories: Talent, beachwear, formal wear, and an interview. But the Mr. Lake County Pageant has a comedic twist not found in regular pageants.
The pageant is a fundraiser for LCTC’s building fund. This is Lake County’s only nonprofit community theater group and has been entertaining audiences for 30 years, all without a permanent place to call home.
The funds raised from the Mr. Lake County Pageant will go directly into the Joshua Phillips-Blair Memorial Theatre Fund, the future dream home of LCTC.
