CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The city of Clearlake Marketing Committee will meet on Wednesday, March 20.

The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. in the council chambers at Clearlake City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive.

Items on the agenda include an update on the proposed signs for Highland Park and Austin Park, approval of city directional signs, an update on the creation of a business map, discussion on marketing of new housing sites, and upcoming events, including the Independence Day Parade, soapbox derby and bass tournaments.

The committee also will discuss outreach activities for businesses and tourism, including the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus, and a welcome mural at Redbud Park.

Committee members include City Councilman Dirk Slooten, Councilwoman Joyce Overton, at-large member Stephanie Codling, Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce representative Patrick Prather and public member David Claffey.
