LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Chi Council for the Clear Lake Hitch will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, March 27.

The group will meet at 3:30 p.m. at the Lake County Agriculture Center, 883 Lakeport Blvd., Lakeport.

Council members report that the 2019 spawning migration is under way, with hitch reported in a number of Scotts Creek tributaries and both Adobe and Manning creeks.

Small groups of stranded dead hitch have also been reported at Rodman Slough and off Adobe at Bell Hill.
