‘Read, Connect and Discover’: Library Bingo game coming

LAKEPORT, Calif. – In honor of National Library Week in April, Library Bingo is coming to Lake County.

Adults can pick up Library Bingo cards at all branches of the Lake County Library.

Library Bingo begins April 2 and ends April 30.

Each Library Bingo card has 25 activities to encourage players to “Read, Connect and Discover” in their communities.

Players mark off activities they have finished and when they complete a row, column or diagonal on the card, they turn in the card. Bingo cards have a short survey about the library on the back.

From the completed Library Bingo cards, a winner will be chosen at each library branch. Winners will receive reader-themed gift baskets filled with books, reading accessories, and other surprises

“Read, Connect, Discover” is a program of the California Library Association and the California Center for the Book. California Center for the Book is a program of the California Library Association, supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian.
