LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Friends of the Lake County Library group is holding a book lover’s dream of a raffle.

Two amazing baskets have been created – one for adults and one for children – filled to the brim with brand new best-selling books.

Also included are a reader’s necessities like a book light, Oreo cookies for children and coffee and chocolate for adults among other items guaranteed to give a chuckle to any reader.

Give yourself a chance to win one of these baskets while supporting your Library. Money raised from the raffle will go the support all of the branches of the Lake County Library with supplies for story times and craft programs; special adult programs; and new books.

The baskets can be viewed and tickets purchased at the following locations:

Lakeport Library

– Thursday, April 4, 10 a.m. to noon.
– Thursday, April 11, 10 a.m. to noon.
– Tuesday, April 16, 10 a.m. to noon.

Riviera Market, Kelseyville

– Saturday, April 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– Friday, April 12, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
– Saturday, April 13, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The drawing for the winning tickets will be held at the Lakeport Library on Tuesday, April 16, at 2 p.m. You need not be present to win.

The Friends of the Lake County Library is a group of volunteers that are dedicated to supporting and expanding what the Library offers to children and adults.

The group knows that a community with a strong library system is a better place to live. The Friends of the Library brings together involved, caring people who are willing to work for excellent libraries.
