Middletown Luncheon Club hosts Flotilla 88 commodore April 17

MIDDLETOWN, Calif. – The Middletown Luncheon Club will host long-time local resident and commodore in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, Richard Thomas, at its meeting on Wednesday, April 17.

Lunch will be served by the Middletown High School Future Farmers of America beginning at noon at the Middletown Senior Center, 21256 Washington St. The program will end promptly at 1 p.m.

Thomas will make a presentation on behalf of the United States Coast Guard and Coast Guard Auxiliary regarding America's Water Watch Program, which provides information on potential threats to our community and nation.

The presentation also will provide an overview of what the auxiliary does both locally as well as nationally.

For only $5 per person, enjoy a meal of chicken enchilada casserole, corn and beans, and garden salad. You may also just come and listen to the speaker for free. Everyone is welcome.
