Caltrans plans major roadwork through May 2

NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.

Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

– Drainage work from Le Trianon Resort to Bruner Drive will begin Sunday, April 28. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Utility work between Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will begin Monday, April 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

Highway 29

– Drainage work from Diener Drive to Mockingbird Lane will begin Sunday, April 28. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 53

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near the 29/53 junction will begin on Monday, April 29. A shoulder closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. A detour will be available.

Highway 175

– Road work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work north of Fish Rock Road beginning Monday, April 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– A&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work south of Haven Neck Drive on Friday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Bridge work at Brush Creek Bridge will continue through Friday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near Elk on Wednesday, May 1. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.

– Slide removal south of Navarro River Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 20

– Emergency work 2 miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work near the Evergreen Shopping Center on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30. A westbound lane closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.

– Emergency work from Hollands Lane to Walker Road will continue through Friday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.

– Pavement work from the East Fork Russian River Bridge to Access Road will occur on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30. One-way traffic control will be in effect 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 101

– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

– Bridge work from Stanley Creek Road Undercrossing to South Fork Eel River Bridge will continue through Friday, April 26. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

Highway 128

– Emergency work from Route 1 to Flynn Creek Road will continue through Friday, April 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.

– Emergency work from the East limits of Philo to Anderson Valley Way will continue through Saturday, April 27. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 175

– Emergency work near the Lake County line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 24 hours a day. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

Highway 253

– Emergency work from Boonville to the Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.

The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
