LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – On Thursday, May 23, teams will be teeing up at the Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course for Adventist Health Clear Lake’s 15th annual Charity Golf Tournament and Silent Auction.
The always-popular event will include contests, prizes, raffles, a catered dinner and a silent auction, all in support of Lake County’s youth programs.
Proceeds from the tournament will fund five Lake County High School Career Technical Education Ag Science programs.
“This day is not just about a golf game, it’s about our community and our neighbors,” said Philip “Flip” Fitch, the tournament director and a member of the surgical services team at Adventist Health Clear Lake. “It’s great to see people out on the course having a fantastic time and knowing all the money raised is going to a cause that benefits our county youth.”
The 15th annual Charity Golf Tournament proceeds will be used in Lake County High School AG Science programs through the Career and Technical Education programs.
The program gives students a wider variety of educational choices and opportunities after graduation to help develop their potential for success whether preparing for continuing education or the workplace.
“Adventist Health Clear Lake’s vision is to create a healthy environment for Lake County, especially our community youth,” says Ben Hill, AHCL philanthropy director. “We believe everyone deserves to live and play in a vibrant and strong community such as Lake County no matter their age. By investing in youth programs designed to provide active environments and social interactions we can build a place where our community can thrive.”
Sponsorship opportunities are still available and individual golfers and teams can register to participate. Early-bird pricing for individual golfers is currently available. Community members are also invited to come for the evening dinner and silent auction.
