NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Drainage work from Blue Lakes Road to Howard Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Le Trianon Resort to Howard Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to the southern 53 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Roadwork on the Hartmann Road Roundabout will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 20. One-way traffic controls will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 30-minute delays. Motorists might want to use an alternate route.
– Drainage work from Cole Creek Road to the Lucerne Undercrossing will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Road work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Slide removal south of Navarro River Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Emergency work two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Crews will be mowing from Road A to Road 231, East Fork Russian River on Sunday, May 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Electrical work from Access Road to Road 260 in Potter Valley will begin Sunday, May 19, through Friday, May 24. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Electrical work on Potter Road will begin Friday, May 17, through Friday, May 24. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Guardrail work from Cold Creek Bridge to Potter Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Road repair work from Cummings Road undercrossing to Inman undercrossing will begin Monday, May 20 through Friday, May 24. Motorists should anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 128
– Emergency work from Route 1 to Flynn Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work at Philo-Greenwood Road will occur Thursday, May 16, through Friday, May 17. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Shoulder work west of South Fork Eel River Bridge will continue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
