LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Friends of the Lake County Library would like to thank the community for its wonderful support of the group’s recent basket raffle.
“We were able to raise $1610 and all of that money has gone directly to support our libraries,” the group reported.
The summer reading program, which began this past weekend, is just one example of the wonderful programs provided by the library.
Summer reading not only encourages children and teens to read over the summer, but also provides fun activities for adults.
When you support the Friends of the Lake County Library by purchasing raffle tickets, purchasing a membership or buying books from the ongoing Friends book sale in the lobby of the Lakeport Library, you help to ensure that the library can continue to effectively serve the community.
