NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Drainage work from Le Trianon Resort to Howard Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to the southern 53 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Road construction for the Lake 20/53 Roundabout will continue from Private Road to Junction 53 south. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Highway construction and road striping will begin Monday, June 3, from Putah Creek to Spruce Road / Hidden Valley. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Roadwork on the Hartmann Road Roundabout will begin at 7 p.m. Friday, May 31 through 5 a.m. Monday, June 2. One-way traffic controls will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Cole Creek Road to the Lucerne Undercrossing will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights overnight. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Tree work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work 1.5 miles south of Elk Creek. Wednesday, June 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Slide removal south of Navarro River Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted a Caltrans Encroachment Permit for utility work on Wednesday, June 5, one-half mile south of Little River Airport Road. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Pavement work will occur on Friday, May 31, at Wildwood Campground. One-way traffic control will be in effect 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Emergency work two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work from Hollands Lane to Walker Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Roadwork from Access Road to Potter Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Electrical work on Potter Road in Potter Valley will begin Friday, May 31 One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Road striping operation on Potter Road in Potter Valley will begin Monday, June 3. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Road paving between north Percy to one mile south of Lowell Allen Memorial Bridge will begin on Monday, June 3. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 128
– Emergency work from Route 1 to Flynn Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency road work from Big Oaks Drive to Dry Creek beginning Friday, May 31. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Shoulder work west of South Fork Eel River Bridge will continue from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 175
– Emergency work near the southern 29 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 253
– Emergency work from Boonville to Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 271
– Emergency road work on North Cummings on Friday, May 31. One-way traffic control will be in effect 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
