Scotts Valley Advisory Council meets June 24

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Scotts Valley Advisory Council will hold its next meeting on Monday, June 24.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at the Scotts Valley Women’s Clubhouse, 2298 Hendricks Road, Lakeport.

The council will welcome new members Paula Mune and Terre Logsdon.

On the agenda is the approval of the minutes of the Nov. 26 meeting. The December, February and May meetings were canceled and the January, March and April meetings were informal.

Under old business, the council will get an update on a $60,000 grant to study flooding in Scotts Valley, the Water Sustainability Act, the trust fund and a county counsel decision regarding levee repair.

In new business, discussion items include repairs needed on Scotts Valley Road due to flooding and a presentation from Supervisor Tina Scott on the Pacific Gas and Electric public safety power shutoffs.

There also will be an open forum for community members to discuss concerns and ideas.
