NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Drainage work from Le Trianon Resort to the Colusa County Line will occur on Thursday, June 20, and Friday, June 21. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Lucerne to Clearlakes Oaks east will begin Sunday, June 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Road and utility work from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Highway construction for the Lake 20/53 Roundabout from Private Road to Route 53 South will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Highway construction for the Hartmann Roundabout from Putah Lane to Spruce Road / Hidden Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Diener Drive to Mockingbird Lane will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Utility work and shoulder widening from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Core drilling will occur at Salmon Creek Bridge between Pacific Reefs Road and Salmon Creek will continue. One-way intermittent traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Odom Lane to Ward Avenue on Tuesday, June 25. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work will begin Friday, June 21, approximately 2.25 miles east of James Creek. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Roadwork from Hollands Lane to Walker Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Road striping operation from Access Road to Potter Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays overnight. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work near North Ryan Creek Road on Friday, June 28. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Road 310B Shimmins Ridge to Underpass Road. Motorists should anticipate minor slowdowns.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Shoulder work south of Piercy will occur on Friday, June 21, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
Highway 128
– Emergency work from Route 1 to Flynn Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Guardrail work from Mill Creek to the East limits of Philo. One-way traffic control will be in effect 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Beebe Creek to Big Oaks Drive on Wednesday, June 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Shoulder work 1.5 miles north of Rodeo Creek Bridge will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from East Lane Road to Biggar Lane on Tuesday, June 25, and Wednesday, June 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Emergency work near the southern Highway 29 junction will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 222
– Paving operation between Sanford Ranch Road to East Side Road will begin Monday, June 24. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 253
– Emergency work from Route 128, Boonville to Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
