ST. HELENA, Calif. – Cal Fire’s Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit will conduct its annual firefighter rehire academy from Monday, July 1, through Friday, July 12.

The training will include a refresher from the previous year as well as introducing the most current firefighting techniques.

Additional training will be provided to ensure the firefighters perform the skills necessary to mitigate all risk incidents.

This academy is the third of three with a possible fourth, this round will host approximately 70 firefighters.
