LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lucerne Area Town Hall will meet on Thursday, July 18.

The meeting will take place at 7 p.m. at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive.

On the agenda is approval of the May minutes, minutes of a special council meeting regarding the California Public Utilities Commission and approval of the bylaws subcommittee meeting minutes.

At the meeting, County Counsel Anita Grant will give a presentation and training on the Brown Act.

There also will be discussion and consideration of draft revised bylaws, concerns regarding the council, discussion and consideration of the Alpine Festival, discussion of a public notice board to be built at Lucerne Harbor Park, and updates on a resolution asking the county to dredge Lucerne Harbor Park’s harbor, the loan for Cal Water’s plan, a special council meeting on water rates.
