NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Drainage work from Blue Lakes Road to Bruner Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Core drilling will occur from Witter Springs Road to Bachelor Creek Bridge will begin Tuesday, July 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Lakeshore Blvd to Bruner Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Paving operation for the Lake 20/53 Roundabout from Private Road to Route 53 South will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Paving operation for the Hartmann Roundabout from Putah Lane to Spruce Lane / Hidden Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Diener Drive to Robinson Rancheria Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Highway construction from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Guido Schwager Driveway Construction has been granted an encroachment permit for paving work at Old Stageroad Drive on Tuesday, July 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for tree work from Moat Creek to the Forestry Fire Station, Point Arena on Monday, July 22, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted an encroachment permit for tree work from Kinney Road to south of Irish Beach Drive on Wednesday, July 24, through Friday, July 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Slide removal from Mallo Pass Creek to Elk Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Slide removal from North Limits Elk to south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Core drilling at Salmon Creek Bridge will continue. One-way intermittent traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for tree work from Wildwood Campground to Private Road on Tuesday, July 23. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Grinding operation from Two Rock Lookout to Willits Cemetery Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Paving operation from Two Rock Lookout to Willits Cemetery Road will begin Monday, July 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Guardrail and sign work from Access Road to Potter Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Access Road to Road 260 in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Road grinding operation from Cold Creek Bridge to Private Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency work from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Roadway excavation from Sherwood Road to Main Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Monroe Street to San Francisco Street on Friday, July 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Special Event at the Lowell Allen Memorial Bridge from Wednesday, July 17, through Monday, July 22. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
Highway 128
– Highway construction crack sealing operation from Route 1 to the East Limits of Philo will occur on Friday, July 19. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Grinding and paving operation between Route 1 to Flynn Creek Road will begin Monday, July 22. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 253
– Slide removal between Anderson Creek Bridge to Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
