NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Striping operation from the Road 305D to New Long Valley Road beginning Sunday, Aug. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Ogden Road to Bruner Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Utility work from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Striping operation from Route 29 to Spruce Road will begin Sunday, Aug. 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Highway construction for the Hartmann Roundabout from Spruce Road to Spruce Lane / Hidden Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Diener Drive to Konocti Forestry Camp will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Highway construction and utility work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Drainage work south of Iverson Avenue, Point Arena will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work on Lake Street, Point Arena. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Bridge work will occur from Alder Creek Beach to Irish Beach Drive beginning Sunday, Aug. 11. Twenty four hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorist should anticipate minor delays.
– Slide removal from Mallo Pass Creek to south of Navarro Bluff Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work will occur from Navarro Bluff Road to Junction 128 East beginning Sunday, Aug. 11. 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorist should anticipate minor delays.
– Core drilling at Salmon Creek Bridge will continue. One-way intermittent traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 20-minute delays.
– Bridge work will occur from Pacific Reefs Road to Spring Grove Road beginning Sunday, Aug. 11. Twenty four hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorist should anticipate minor delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Albion River North Side Road to Albion Little River Road on Monday, Aug. 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Bridge work will occur from Caspar Lake Road to Caspar Vista Point beginning Sunday, Aug. 11. 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorist should anticipate minor delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Guardrail work and shoulder work from Two Rock Lookout to Willits Cemetery Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Sign work from Access Road to Road 260 in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Cold Creek Bridge to Private Road in Potter Valley will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
Highway 101
– Emergency roadwork from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Grinding and paving work will occur from Ramsey Road to Rattlesnake Summit beginning Friday, Aug. 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 4 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work at Bear Pen Undercrossing on Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Shoulder work on the Piercy on-ramp will begin Friday, August 9 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
Old Highway 101
– Roadway excavation from Sherwood Road to Main Street in Willits will continue. 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate up to 15-minute delays.
Highway 128
– Bridge work will occur from Highway Maintenance Station to Mountain View Road beginning Sunday, Aug. 11. 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorist should anticipate minor delays.
Highway 162
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for tree work west of Poonkiny-Fairbanks to Short Creek Road beginning Monday, Aug. 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Pacific Gas and Electric Co. has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work at Russian River on Monday, Aug. 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
Highway 253
– Slide removal Route 128 (Boonville) Anderson Creek Bridge to Singley Cattlepass will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
