NORTH COAST, Calif. – Caltrans reports that the following road projects will be taking place around the North Coast during the coming week.
Included are Mendocino County projects that may impact Lake County commuters.
LAKE COUNTY
Highway 20
– Striping operation from the Mendocino County Line to New Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Drainage work from Ogden Road to Bruner Drive will begin on Sunday, Sept. 8. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Highway construction from Catholic Church Road to Long Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Striping operation from North Fork Cache Creek to the Colusa County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 29
– Striping operation from Napa County Line to Spruce Grove Road North will begin Monday, Sept. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Striping operation from Route 175 Southeast to Route 20 will begin Thursday, Sept. 12. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Guardrail work north of Kelsey Creek Bridge will occur Friday, Sept. 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Granite Construction has been granted an encroachment permit for paving at the 11th Street Undercrossing on Thursday, Sept. 12, and Friday, Sept. 13, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Striping operation from Lucerne Undercrossing to Private Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 53
– Striping operation from Junction 53 to Junctions 20 and 29 will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 175
– Guardrail work near East Socrates Mine Road will occur Friday, Sept. 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Utility and electrical work from Putah Creek to Dry Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
MENDOCINO COUNTY
Highway 1
– Driveway paving at Old Stageroad Drive will occur Wednesday, Sept. 11, and Thursday, Sept. 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Drainage work south of Iverson Avenue, Point Arena will continue. 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Brush Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Alder Creek Beach to Irish Beach Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Bridge work from Pacific Reefs Road to Salmon Creek will continue One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– Emergency work at Blue Slide Gulch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
Highway 20
– Striping operation from Wildwood Campground to Cold Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Slide removal two miles west of Three Chop Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays.
– PG&E has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work between Cropely Lane and Blosser Road on Monday, Sept. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– AT&T has been granted an encroachment permit for utility work from Baechtel Road to Gregory Lane on Friday, September 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
Highway 101
– Guardrail work south of Russian River will occur Friday, Sept. 6. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
– Roadwork from Reeves Canyon Road to Ridgewood Ranch Road will continue. Motorists should anticipate minimal delays.
– Cleanup work on the Jitney Gulch Bridge will begin Monday, Sept. 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists can anticipate five-minute delays.
– Emergency work near the Dora Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns.
– Guardrail work and paving work from Ramsey Road to Rattlesnake Summit will continue. 24-hour one-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 15-minute delays.
Old Highway 101
– Roadway excavation from Sherwood Road to Main Street will begin Sunday, Sept. 8. One-way traffic controls will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists can anticipate 15-minute delays.
Highway 128
– Paving work from Route 1 to East Limits Philo will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists can anticipate 20-minute delays.
Highway 162
– Electrical work at South Eel River Bridge will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
– Electrical work north of Rodeo Creek Bridge will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists can anticipate minor delays.
The Caltrans Traffic Operations Office has reviewed each project and determined that individual project delays are expected to be less than the statewide policy maximum of 30 minutes, unless noted otherwise above.
