First Fridays in Middletown is a series of independently hosted parties at participating businesses around town, featuring artists, musicians and makers from around mostly southern Lake County. It's also an opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate our local industry and show support while having fun.
First Fridays is a concept designed to promote local business and microbusiness in south Lake County. It is not, itself, an "event." Rather, it creates an impetus for individual events to occur simultaneously, generating traffic to our downtown stores who need our business.
Please come out with your friends and family, do the Art Walk, and meet the artists, musicians and makers who bring vibrancy to our lives and this area.
If you have a business that is wellness related and would like to participate in First Friday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m., please contact Fairlight Ahlgren at
