CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Democratic Party of Lake County will hold the 26th annual barbecue fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 20.

The event will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Highlands Senior Center, 3245 Bowers Ave. in Clearlake.

The keynote speaker is State Sen. Mike McGuire. Congressmember John Garamendi and Assemblymember Cecilia Aguiar-Curry will also address the guests, along with members of the Lake County Board of Supervisors.

Theme for this year's event is "We the People, Toward a More Perfect Union."

Volunteers will serve barbecued tri-tip. Sides, desserts and vegetarian offerings will be available.

There will be a dessert auction, and a U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol will be available for raffle, generously donated by Congressmember Mike Thompson.
