District 5 candidate Pyska announces endorsements

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Candidate for Lake County District 5 Board of Supervisors, Jessica Jennings Pyska, is honored to have received to-date more than 60 endorsements from a wide array of leaders in the Lake County community.

Her commitment to strengthening our economic vitality, creating a high standard of disaster prevention and preparedness and improving the health and safety for all residents, while preserving and enhancing what we love most about Lake County is receiving considerable community support.

She said she will work tirelessly to use our local resources wisely and reach out to state and federal funding sources to access what we need and deserve to move forward strongly into the future.

Those supporting Pyska’s candidacy recognize her experience and skills and the leadership role that she took on during the difficult days of fire and recovery in her community.

She brought people together countywide, connecting the right resources and managing the appropriate assets to solve issues that were unprecedented.

Pyska continues her economic development work on the Cobb Area Council, recently organizing the very successful Blackberry Cobbler Festival, which drew close to 1,000 attendees, as well as the upcoming 2019 Cobb Resilient networking event on Oct. 19 where Lake County residents are invited to learn fire-adapted ecology best practices.

She currently is assisting with several county-wide initiatives including serving on the Lake County Risk Reduction Authority ad-hoc committee. She provided community input to the hazardous vegetation abatement ordinance and the Lake County Dark Skies Proclamation.

Pyska said she is ready to bring all of her experience, resources. relationships and innate ability to the Board of Supervisors to move Lake County into the future it deserves and one in which everyone shares.
