UPPER LAKE, Calif. – Measure N is on the Nov. 5 ballot and a meeting next week will explain more about it.

The measure seeks funding support for local firefighters who provide fire, water rescue, accident and medical emergency response for the residents of the Northshore.

On Monday, Oct. 21, from 5 to 7 p.m., Peter and Maryann Schmid, owners of The Lodge At Blue Lakes, are hosting a community meeting on the measure.

This is an opportunity to meet local fire officials, learn what Measure N is all about, get your questions answered, and pick up yard signs and literature.

All voters are encouraged to attend. Beverages and snacks will be served.

The Lodge at Blue Lakes is located on 5135 West Highway 20, Upper Lake.
