Big Canyon Road rehabilitation begins Oct. 22

SOUTH LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 22, and continuing through Oct. 31, county road crews along with a private contractor will be rehabilitating portion of Big Canyon Road (from the Bridge over Putah Creek to the intersection of Harbin Springs Road).

This work will require that the roadway be closed or down to single lane with extended delays.

Please see the schedule below for the dates, times and impacts to the travelling public:

– Tuesday, Oct. 22: Full road closure from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. From 2 to 5 p.m., single lane road closure with delays up to 30 minutes expected.

– Wednesday, Oct. 23, and Thursday, Oct. 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., single lane road closure with delays up to 30 minutes expected.

– Friday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., single lane road closure with delays up to 15 minutes
expected.
