Lake County Theatre Co. to host December ‘Family Christmas Story Time’

LAKEPORT, Calif. – Nothing says the holidays quite like cozy PJs, hot chocolate and a classic Christmas story.

The Lake County Theatre Co. is excited to get the community in the holiday spirit with their upcoming event “Family Christmas Story Time.”

Dramatic readings of four classic tales – “The Polar Express,” “The Night Before Christmas,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “The Elves and the Shoemaker” – will be read by some of LCTC’s seasoned actors, as well as others who may be new to the stage but have plenty of Christmas spirit to share!

A Christmas carol sing-along is also planned as part of the evening’s festivities.

Story time will take place at the Clearlake Senior Center on Dec. 7 and 8, and at the United Christian Parish Church in Lakeport on Dec. 14 and 15. Readings begin at 6:30 p.m.

Cookies, hot chocolate and cider will be available, and pajamas or holiday attire is encouraged.

This event is free of charge and is generously sponsored by the Lakeport Women’s Civic Club. Donations will be gratefully accepted.
