KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – On the beautiful autumn-like day of Nov. 9, with family and friends at the historical Ely Stage Stop and Country Museum in Kelseyville, Hannah Louise Barnett of Middletown and Hidden Valley Lake and Chris Shibler of Hazelton, Pennsylvania joined together in marriage.

The bride is the daughter of Jean Goulart and Tim Barnett. The groom is the son of Michelle Shibler.

Jarrod Rudy, the bride’s youngest of four brothers, officiated the ceremony.

The Bride and Groom were blessed to have their dear friends Valerie DeFiore and Brian Gombeda stand at their sides as the maid of honor and best man. The brides nieces and nephews completed the bridal party.

The bride designed and created her wedding dress using material from her grandmother's and mother's wedding gowns. She added pieces that represent all the women in both hers and her groom’s family. A soft dusty rose colored tulle covered her gown while the detachable train was satin ivory.

The grooms vest was also designed using material and pieces representing all the men from their families.

The ceremony was held on the hill near the museum house with a view of Mt. Konocti. The reception dinner by Chef Tamron DeTrinidad was held at dusk under the full moon, with wedding celebration continuing in the barn till the wee hours as DJ Stilts kept the celebration flowing.

The wedding cake was lemon bars by Chef Krista Mosley, a favorite of the bride, and Oreo ice cream cake, a favorite of the groom’s.
