LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – On Dec. 23, Lake Family Resource Center received a $1,000 grant from Walmart Inc.
Casey Wolven-Scott, store manager of the Clearlake Walmart, was responsible for nominating Lake Family Resource Center for the grant.
“I like to keep as much of our giving as possible within our own community, helping the residents of Lake County,” Wolven-Scott said.
Since 1995, Lake Family Resource Center has been helping residents of Lake County succeed in life, one family at a time.
Lake Family Resource Center serves roughly 5,000 community members each year.
Focus areas include child abuse prevention, intervention and treatment; sexual assault; domestic violence support; housing stability; human trafficking; early childhood development; teen pregnancy prevention; and teen parenting.
