CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Lake County Republican Women, Federated will meet for lunch Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Howard's Grotto, 14732 Lakeshore Drive in Clearlake.

Lake County Assessor-Recorder Richard Ford will talk about what the new Proposition 13 would mean for homeowners, renters and commercial property owners.

“Beware of tax hikes in this Prop 13. On the March 3 California Presidential Primary Election voters will have a choice. Be informed, educated about this misleading proposition,” club leadership said in a statement.

All women and men are welcome at Lake County Republican Women, Federated meetings by reservation only. However, membership is open to registered Republican women, but many registered Republican men join and are active as associate members.
